Kenneth Holley Obituary

Mr. Kenneth Raymond "Kenny" Holley, 67, of Warrenville, SC, entered into rest on Friday, August 29, 2025. Born in Aiken County, SC, he was the son of the late Chief Master Sergeant Raymond P. Holley United States Air Force (Retired) and Jeanette Keenan Holley. Raised as a "military brat", Kenney was fortunate enough to live in various places in the United States as well as abroad, graduating from High School in Seoul, Korea. As a young man, Kenny was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis and Scoliosis, and eventually, he became an amputee. Through it all, Kenny made the best of it and did not let his health slow him down. He was a former Retail Sales Associate with both Kmart and Walmart. Kenny was a Firefighter with the Midland Valley Fire Department, who dedicated forty-one years of his life to the citizens of the Midland Valley area. His fellow Firefighters and the community respected him. Kenny was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was a collector of various things. Anything from old Hess trucks to Pez dispensers could be found in his unique collections. He was an avid Clemson Tiger fan and loved watching football. Kenny is loved, missed and his memory will remain eternal in the hearts of his siblings, Donald (Rhonda) Holley and Sandra (Chuck) Williams, nieces and nephews, Jessica Mock Taylor, James (Amalia) Mock, Caitlin Holley and Christopher (Britney) Lybrand, great-nieces, Emmalynn and Isabelle Lybrand. The family is in deep appreciation for the love and assistance given to Kenny in his final months by Miriam Burkhalter (aunt), Tammy (Timothy) Jones and Josh (Tara) Harris (cousins) and a fellow firefighter who was more like a brother, Sean Johnson. Also preceding Kenny in death was a nephew, Eric Holley. Friends will be greeted by the family on Saturday, September 6, 2025, beginning at 10 o'clock at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Beech Island, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Dr. Harold Herd will officiate. Interment with Firefighters honors accorded by the Midland Valley Fire Department will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Bath, SC.
