KENNETH HARDIN Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Kenneth Lee Hardin, 78, beloved husband of Rita C. Hardin, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at his home.
A native of Delaware, OH, Ken was a son of the late Kenneth C. and Ethel Louise McBride Hardin. He was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He had lived in Aiken since 1975 and was a retired realtor. Ken was an avid horseman, he was past president of the Aiken Driving Club, a polo player and a member of and former announcer for the Aiken Polo Club.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Rita, include a daughter, Shelli Day of Aiken and a sister, Kay Harris (Urlin) of Delaware, OH.
Funeral services will be held Friday, the 30th of January 2015 at 4:30 in the afternoon at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.

I'm so sorry to hear about Kenny. I knew him back when we were in high school in Delaware. I went to Willis, but somehow we became friends. I think there was some Magnetic Springs connection and that he knew Anne Sullivan Bartlett. I always enjoyed being with Kenny.

My father and Kenny's father were best friends back in the day in Delaware Ohio and I remember Kenny and Kay from the fifty's. May he RIP.......

My brother Craig and I spent part of today looking at pictures of Kenny when he was little. He was so adorable. So was his sister Kay. We will always remember Kenny Lee's great smile and kindness. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
