KATY HALE Obituary

HALE, KATY DISNEY - Age 74, of Caryville, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday June 21st, 2014. Katy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, LaFollette, Tennessee. She loved attending church and serving the Lord, especially working with missions. Katy retired from Cove Lake State Park in 1995 after 25 years of dedicated service. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Wilgus E. (Eig) and Josephine Cross Disney; sister, Nancy Turner; brother, Kelly Disney. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Billy (Buddy) Hale; son and daughter-in-law, Quentin and Camille Hale; grandson, Brandon Hale; all of Caryville, Tennessee; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Carolyn Disney of Dayton, Ohio; sister-in-law, Carol Hale; special cousin Venna Eilers; and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Hill Baptist Church. Receiving friends will be Monday, June 23rd, at Cedar Hill Baptist Church from 5:00-7:00 PM with the funeral immediately following. Reverend Ronnie Arnold officiating. Interment will be June 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Campbell Memorial Gardens. Condolences can be made at cross-smithfuneralhome.com Arrangements by Cross-Smith Funeral Home, LaFollette.
