North Augusta - The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Kathleen F. Guy, 88, who entered into rest
December 17, 2017 will
be conducted Thursday
morning at 11 o'clock from Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Rev. J. Renaurd West officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview
Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Guy was a native of Massachusetts, having made North Augusta her home for past 70 years. She was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church where she served as a part of the Eucharistic Ministry and on the
Bereavement Committee. Mrs. Guy worked as a
preschool teacher at Our Lady of Peace School and operated Humpty Dumpty Preschool with long-time friend Dot Velky. She was an outgoing individual who
enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren at the beach. Mrs. Guy was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Guy.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and David Faircloth, North Augusta, SC; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Rhonda Guy, High Point, NC, Ed and Cheryl Guy, Gettysburg, PA
and Patrick and Julie
Guy, Aiken, SC; nine
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
A Vigil Service will be held in the Posey Funeral Chapel Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock followed by
visitation until 7.
Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, PO Box 6605, North Augusta, SC 29861.

Kathy, Eddie, Johnny and Patrick and grandkids, of course no one needs to tell you your mother and grandmother was a fantastic person, always so friendly, helpful, upbeat and positive. She brightened the places she entered! You and all others who were privileged to have had her as a part of our lives have innumerous wonderful memories of her life well lived and her participation in ours!
