Losing Judith at such an unexpected moment is a sad shock. Not only is it a loss to her family, it is a loss to her numerous friends, and to her home town, Aiken. Judith was Aiken personified. She had a glowing personality with an easy smile that could light up a room and she had a memorable laugh that made everyone want to join the party. Whenever Judith was around, there was always fun and joy. Her positive attitude was an enduring characteristic that made her a friend to everyone who crossed her path. She seemed to know just about everyone in Aiken and new acquaintances soon became old friends.
