Juanita Patterson Obituary

Mrs. Virginia Juanita Robinson Patterson, 77, of Graniteville, SC, wife of the late Larry Patterson, entered into rest on Monday morning, October 6, 2025. Born in Woodruff, SC, to the late Edwin and Virginia Anderson Robinson, she was a 1966 graduate of LBC High School. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, as well as her dedicated mother to her children, Dewayne Patterson, Jenifer (Timothy) Frederick, and Bridget (Robbie) Anderson. She was a member of the Clearwater Baptist Church. Juanita enjoyed, believe it or not, horror movies, trips to the casino, reading, and, of course, sweets. She was known for her kind and caring nature, as well as her nurturing and sweet spirit. Children, whether her own or those of others, always came first. Although she enjoyed the above-listed things, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Morgan (Brandon) Gibson, Morgan Anderson, Brayden Anderson, and her great-grandchildren, Gaven, Journee, and Jennings Gibson. Additionally, Juanita is survived by a brother, Belton Robinson, other relatives, and numerous friends. Also preceding her in death were her siblings, Edwin Robinson, Jr., Murphy Robinson, Edna West, Ada Goodwin, and Yank Robertson, as well as her beloved four-legged children, Rocky II and Adrian. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 5 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. Pastor Hoke Robinson will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Juanita suffered from both Parkinson's and Dementia.
