Juanita Hall Obituary

Juanita Clark
McCormick Hall
CLEARWATER, SC - Mrs. Juanita Clark McCormick Hall, 93, entered into rest in the comfort of her home, on Sunday, February 21st, 2016, with her daughter, Linda Knight, son-in-law, Terry and other family members at her side.
Born in Stiefeltown, SC, a daughter of the late Cullen Sr. and Edith Gibson Clark, she was proud to be an "April Fools Baby." She graduated from Greenville High School, Greenville, SC. Miss Juanita, as she was affectionately known, came to Aiken County, SC, in 1938, when she married her first husband of forty-eight years, Harry McCormick. She later married James P. Hall, who died shortly after their marriage. Miss Juanita was very proud of the fact that she retired from Seminole Mills after forty-seven years of service. A devout Christian, she was the oldest charter member of Clearwater First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Kingdom Seekers Sunday School Class and was very active in the Juanita McCormick Hall Missions Group. She enjoyed photography, playing the piano, and was well known for her card ministry. However, more than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her much loved family. She was also a member of the Daughters of America and the "Ritters Critters" traveling group.
In addition to her husbands, parents, daughter and son-in-law, family members include a son, the late Jerry McCormick, siblings, the late Cullen Clark, Jr. and Lucy Clark Mahlke, eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, February 25th, 2016, at 2 o'clock at Clearwater First Baptist Church, Clearwater, SC, with Pastor John Bolin and her grandson, Rev. Jeff McCormick officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons, Kent McCormick, Cullen McCormick, Alex Benson, Jeffery McCormick, Josh McCormick and Jake McCormick. Members of the Juanita McCormick Hall Mission Group will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC.
Due to her love for
her church, the family
has asked that memorials be made to Clearwater First Baptist Church. (www.clearwaterfbc.org)
The family will greet friends on Thursday from 1 until 2 o'clock at CLEARWATER FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, CLEARWATER, SC.

I grew up in Clearwater First Baptist and this precious lady was one of my leaders from the age of 6 when I first came to church. I can't begin to tell you of all the wonderful memories I have with her and I know she is singing with the Angels. She sooooo loved my granddaughter and loved to hear her sing. She watch Columbia First Baptist where Megan & her husband sang in the choir. I was in to see her the l6th and I thank my God for leading me to her house that day. I shall miss her. Much love to all of her family. Lelia Holley
