Jon Reid Bohning
Aiken - Mr. Jon Reid Bohning, age 79, entered into rest on May 12, 2021.
Reid was born on June 5, 1941 to the late Carl and Muriel Bohning. He loved life and travel. He enjoyed reading, playing the piano, golfing, and bridge. He retired as the vice president of Gabor Insurance Services.
Reid is survived by his beloved wife of forty-three years, Marilyn; his son, Jeffrey Scott Bohning; his stepson, Steven Cumbo (Jamie Len); his grandson, Briggs Cumbo; and a brother-in-law, James Drachenberg (Dottie).
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 20th at St. Mary Help of Christians Church, Fairfield St., with The Very Rev. Father Gregory Wilson as celebrant. Final prayers and commendation will follow in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends following the service in Mother Theresa Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary Help of Christians Church building fund.
