Graniteville - Graniteville, SC-Mr. Johnny Ray Matthews, age 67, of 196 Williamson Dr., passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at Augusta University Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Pine Grove Baptist Church (Viewing 10-11 AM) 250 Merriweather Dr., Graniteville, SC 29829, Pastor David Mathews. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Johnny leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Barbara Green Matthews; son, Ray A. McMillan; sisters, Lelia M. (Johnny) Walker, Jessie Lois Simpkins, and Octavia (Bernard) Green; twelve grandchildren; other relatives and loving friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-7 PM. Friends may call the residence of Octavia (Bernard) Green, 3605 Vaucluse Rd, 803-507-4563, or 803-646-9469 or JACKSON-BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, 126 Fairfield St. SE, Aiken, SC 29801, 803-649-6123, from 3-8 PM Wednesday.
