John Jordan Obituary
AIKEN - Rev. John A. Jordan Sr., age 90, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, at Aiken Regional. Born and raised in Hartwell, Georgia, John was a U.S. Army veteran and an alumnus of Paine College. Rev. Jordan dedicated over 60 years of service as a pastor touching lives through his ministry. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Deborah Simpkins of Aiken, SC and son John A. Jordan Jr. of Aiken, as well as a brother, Robert Jordan of Hartwell, GA. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Friday August 8, 2025, Williams Memorial CME Church 1639 15th St. Augusta, GA 30901 (Viewing 10 AM- 12 PM). Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit JACKSON-BROOKS FUNERAL HOME 126 FAIRFIELD ST. SE, Aiken, SC 29801, 803-649-6123, Thursday from 3-6 PM.

Condolences and many prayers from
Rev. Gwendolyn B Smith and family and Holsey Memorial CME Church , Sparta,Ga.
Fond memories of traveling to revivals across N.Georgia, Elberton District and ASD with the two Revs John Smith and John Jordan. Revivals lasted for two weeks . The roads were long , dark, quiet , but the two Revs would sing hymns of the church as we traveled back to our homes. Fond memories of the late Justin, my friend , and prayers to Robin, John Jr. and their families.May God keep you in His perfect Peace
