JoAnn Fedje Obituary

Grovetown, GA – Mrs. JoAnn Fedje, 93, entered into rest August 4, 2025. Family Conducted Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 16th, at 12 noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Grovetown Ward, 470 North Louisville Street, Harlem, GA 30814. Bishop Jay Durrant presiding. JoAnn was born April 18, 1932, to the late Andrew and Anna Fedje. She was a lifelong resident of California prior to making Grovetown, Georgia her home for the past two years. JoAnn retired as a personnel administrator with the California Department of Corrections. She had a strong work ethic and set high standards of excellence for herself and for those with whom she worked. JoAnn blessed with the gift to create beautiful art. She enjoyed ceramics, was an avid crafter, a talented seamstress, and a master quilter. JoAnn was known as a strong, formidable woman, who loved and adored her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her siblings, Hyrum Fedje, Helene Fleishman, and Clarice Crabtree. Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her children, Pamela Lentsch (Brian) and James Barnes; her grandchildren, Sarah Valle, Summer Frazier (Kyle), and Michael Farish (Allison); her great-grandchildren, Dominic Valle, Samantha Valle, Kade Frazier, Levi Frazier, and Daniel Farish; and a sister-in-law, Cleo Fedje.
