JOANN COANE Obituary

COANE, JOANN - of Sevierville, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014, with her loving husband of 46 years, "Sonny", and daughter, Sharon, by her side. JoAnn was preceded in death by her son, Braden; her mother and father, Thelma and Joseph Alvarez and she has now joined them in Heaven. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sevierville where she did volunteer work in the Prayer Room and Pep Moms. JoAnn retired from Home Federal Bank in Knoxville in January of 2009, as a senior vice president, after 16 years of service. Following her retirement, she has enjoyed traveling with her husband. Survivors include her husband, Noel "Sonny" Coane; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Mick Brown; brother, Arthur "Artie" Alvarez; sisters-in-law, Carol Alvarez and Shirley Gliedman; grandchildren, Haley Carr and husband David, Jordan, Grace and Joe Waller, niece Melissa Gliedman; nephew, Marlon Alvarez; cousins, Janice Alvarez and Alan Alvarez. Visitors may pay their respects from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Sevierville. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Dan Spencer officiating.
