Joan McCraw Lineberry
AIKEN- Joan McCraw Lineberry, 87, of Aiken, S.C., passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. She was born in Carroll County, Virginia on October 8, 1935, to James Harvey and Bessie Shaw McCraw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lane Lineberry, and her sisters, Barbara McCraw Lockhart and Rita McCraw Ramsey.
Surviving are her son, Colin, and his wife, Alice, and their two sons, Travis and Matthew, of Austin, Texas; her daughter, Stephanie Marquardt, and her husband, Kurt, of Elgin, Illinois, and their three children, Faith Marquardt Gebhardt, Anna Marquardt, and Adam Marquardt, and son-in-law, Matt Gebhardt.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Galax, Virginia. Memorial donations may be directed to the First Christian Church Benevolence Fund, 402 N. Jefferson St., Galax, VA 24333.

Colin and Stephanie I had the pleasure of knowing your parents and Mrs.Lineberry always spoke so highly of you both and your families.She adored her grandchildren.I always enjoyed our conversations and we laughed about how she moved from Aiken and then shortly moved back into her home.I will always remember her smile and generosity.My codolences to your family.
