Jesse Paul Reeves Obituary

Mr. Paul Reeves, age 71, of Aiken, S. C., loving husband for 49 years to Barbara Chafin Reeves and son of the late William R. "Buster" Reeves and the late Alice "Biddie" Feaster Reeves. He is survived by two sons; Jesse (Alicia) Reeves and Ben (Heather) Reeves; a brother; David (Sharon) Reeves and four grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Krista Marie Reeves; brothers, Bob and Howard and a sister, Sarah. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was an Insurance Broker for Hutson-Etheredge in Aiken, S.C. for many years. He was a member of Gregg-Graniteville Foundation. He loved his family with all his heart and always supported his sons in the sports they participated in. He also loved his grandbabies. Yes, Paul was definitely an example of a true Southern Gentleman, great husband, father and family man. A man of his caliber shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 71 years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, as he shall live on forever in the hearts of his family and loved ones. Earth's loss is truly Heaven's gain. At the family's request, the service and interment will be private. Memorials, in his honor, may be made to the Alzeheimer's Association, 140 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, S. C. 29210.
