Jerry Proctor Obituary
BEECH ISLAND, SC - Jerry Melton Proctor, age 77, beloved husband to Lynn Eidson Proctor for 40 years and son of the late Roy Proctor and Gladys Anderson Nichols, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 7th, 2016.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Jeremy (Crystal) Proctor, and Clay Garvin; daughters Fonda Proctor (Deborah), Gina (Craig) Bell, and Julie (Kenny) Hatcher; a brother, Tommy (Eileen) Proctor; sisters, Phyllis (Tom) Halter, and Sylvia (Jerry) Raborn; ten Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren. Mr. Proctor lived in Beech Island SC, coming from Graniteville, where he was born and raised.
He was a member of Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville S.C. Mr. Proctor was also the owner and operator of Beech Island Lawn and Garden for 25 years and was a member of the Horse Creek Masonic Lodge 174.
He was a great dad, grandfather and brother. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family whose lives he touched over the 77 years that God granted him on this earth.
Death is not the end, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of those whom he loved.
A Celebration of life service will be held at Christian Heritage Church on Tuesday May 10th, 2016 at 2:00 o'clock with Rev. Stephen Phillips, Rev. Jonathan Randall, and Rev. Jody Padgett officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church this Monday evening May 9th, 2016 from 6-8 PM. Pallbearers will be Al Eidson, Buck Wilson, Jimmy Hadden, Charles Venable, Lee Widener, and Doug Jackson.

Ms. Lynn and Family,
I didn't know Mr. Jerry had gone so quick until you called me today.
He sure will be missed. You are two of the nicest people that I've known.
I can tell Mr. Jerry was well thought of and touched many many lives along his life's journey here.
It will be an adjustment not seeing him come thru those doors with you.
