Jerry Phillips Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Jerry C. Phillips, age 56, of Aiken, S.C., loving husband of Patti Ryan Phillips and son of Shirley Turner Phillips and the late Grady "Jack" Phillips, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 10, 2016.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Emily Phillips of Aiken, S.C.; a son, Edward (Fei Gao) Phillips of Aiken, S.C.; aunts and uncles, Jean (Heyward) Horton of Graniteville, S.C., Brenda (George) Johnson of Trenton, S.C., Alvin (Ann) Phillips of Warrenville, S.C. and Raymond (Connie) Turner of Warrenville, S.C.; his beloved Pet Dog, "WeeZy" and many cousins.
He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He had worked as a machinist with B & S. He was of the Baptist Faith. His family stated that he loved music and playing the guitar and the banjo. He also raised show chickens. He was a loving son,father, brother, nephew and friend. He shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during his short lifespan. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his family and loved ones.
A memorial service, celebrating his life will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Hayward Horton officiating. Interment will be private. Napier Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of all arrangements.
