Jerry Kelley
Laurens - Mr. Jerry Wayne Kelley, age 73, beloved husband of the late Linda Boatright Kelley, entered into rest on Sunday January 3rd, 2021.
He is survived by his sons, Howard Kelley, Erick Kelley; daughter, Gerry (Chris) Thomas; brother, Rev. Charlie Kelley; sister, Frankie K. Pryor Hudson; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie B. and Jesse Mae Kelley; brothers, William Kelley, Jody Kelley; sisters, Margaret Odum, Janice Snipes, JoAnne K. Conaway; and a great grandchild, Christian Nicole Kelley.
Mr. Kelley was an electrician at Plant Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, where he worked until he retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved his family. Mr. Kelley was a loving father, brother and "papa". He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday January 9th, 2021 with Rev. Charlie Kelley officiating. Pallbearers will be: Kyle Thomas, Ron Jordan, Don Jordan, Evan Carver, Billy Moseley and Daniel Hesson. The family has requested that those who are invited to attend the graveside, please wear a facial covering and observe social distancing guidelines. Napier Funeral Home, Inc. 315 Main St. Graniteville, SC 29829, has been entrusted with these arrangements.
