Jeffrey Scoggin Obituary

North Augusta, SC- Memorial Services for Jeffrey Michael Scoggin, Sr., 77, who entered into rest July 28, 2025, will be conducted at a later date. Jeffrey was born April 25, 1948, in Salina, KS, to the late Joseph Arthur and Mary Lou Cropper Scoggin. He was a proud Air Force Veteran that served during the Vietnam War for four years. After his time in the service, he moved to several cities across the US where he worked with several group homes as a mentor and teacher for last chance and disadvantaged children. He then moved to Beaufort, SC, where he joined the SC Army National Guard and served for over 20 years. Jeffrey made North Augusta, SC his home in 1989. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and raising bird dogs, especially German Short Hair Pointers. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Rosetta Louise Mullinax Scoggin. Surviving members of the family left to cherish his memory include his two sons, Jeffrey (Amy) Scoggin, II and Jason (Jenni) Scoggin; three grandchildren, Cooper, Cade, and Gabriel and seven sisters.
