Jeffery Crosby Obituary

Mr. Jeffery F. "Jeff" Crosby, 66, of New Ellenton, SC, beloved husband of Betty Crosby, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025. \Born in Fulton County, GA, the son of the late Nixon Taylor and Elaine Davitte Crosby, he had been a resident of Florida before making New Ellenton, SC, his home in 1987. Jeff and Betty became soulmates in 1988 and "tied the knot" in 2005. Although they had no children together, he loved Betty's boys, Brandon Knight and Brian (Julie) Knight, as if they were his own. The feeling was mutual among all. He loved and cherished his family. Along with his Wife and sons, he is also survived by his brothers Rick (Jimsie) Crosby, Sam (Anette) Crosby and Grandchildren: Justin, Victoria, Addison, Kinsley, and Kayden Knight. At the age of sixty-six, Jeff was in Maintenance at the University of South Carolina at Aiken, where he had been employed for over twenty years. He enjoyed and looked forward to working with his team at USCA. Jeff often said to folks, "Make sure you are right." A private and straightforward man, Jeff requested that services be private. The family has asked that memorials in memory of Jeff be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. (www.stjude.org) or The American Lung Association (www.lung.org)
