Jayson Haven Obituary
AIKEN - A celebration of life service for Jayson Reed Haven, 20, will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans, https://nchv.org.
Jayson passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 while serving active duty at Camp Buehring in Kuwait. Born in Pembroke Pines, FL, he was a son of Jeff Allen Haven and Susanne J. Diaz.
Jayson was a member of the South Carolina National Guard, Company B, 1-118th Infantry. He enjoyed music, traveling, history, politics, reading, international studies, playing video games, attending live concerts, and was a Master of Discord.
Surviving is his father, Jeff Haven; loving step-mother, Immacula Haven; mother, Susanne Diaz; and siblings, Isabon Rasted and Arielle Diaz.
