Janie Clark Obituary

Janie Boatwright Clark
AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Janie Boatwright Clark age 48, of Aiken, S.C., loving wife for 28 years to Marshall W. Clark and daughter of the late Sam Boatwright and the late Ola Cooper Boatwright Cook, answered God's call and went home to be with Jesus on Monday, June 23, 2014.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Nathan Clark and Ethan Clark both of the home; a brother, Samuel Jay (Tina) Boatwright of Spring Lake, N.C.; an aunt, Nina (Raymond) Phillips of Aiken, S.C.; an uncle, Bernard Cooper of Florida; nephews, Travis (Logan) Boatwright and T. J. Boatwright.
She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a member of Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Her family stated that she just adored her children. She had a winning personality, and she never met a stranger. She also never missed a chance to share Jesus with everyone she came in contact with. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during her short lifespan; however, death is not the end for Janie, as she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly home. Surely, there will be many stars in Janie's crown for all of the people that she has lead to the Lord by sharing her testimony while here on earth. Yes, Earth's loss is surely Heaven's gain.
A service celebrating her life and home going will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 2:30 PM at Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville with Rev. Stephen Phillips and Rev. Brandon Key officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. The interment will follow the service at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Travis Boatwright, T. J. Boatwright, Josh Pryor, Hunter Black, Wyatt Scoggins, Scott Seeley and Tripp Pryor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist with the expense of the funeral. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

My Longtime Friend, Marshall, Nathan and Ethan,
I am so, so sorry you are going thru this unexpected sorrow. Just know that Janie LOVED you and the boys so much! Her face would always light up with pride when ever she spoke of you! We may not know "why" she had to leave this earth so soon.....but one day we will. Cherish all the wonderful memories you all had together, and don't forget to smile and laugh. Janie would not want you to be sad.

With Love My Friend,

Dear Marshall and Family: May God take care of you and the family in the days, weeks and months to come. When the grief becomes more than you can stand, just stop and "remember". Memories are your gift from God to help you through the awful days ahead. Remember always that God loves you and we do to.
