Janice Perry
Gaston - Mrs. Janice Hyde Parry, 72, of Gaston, SC, entered into rest early Sunday, morning, September 19, 2021, with her family at her side.
Born in Pottsville, PA and a former longtime resident of Schuylkill Haven, PA, she was a daughter of the late Franklin Henry and Mary Heim Hyde. She had made Aiken her home since 1991. Her working career lead her in many different directions. She was a former Manager with Izod, an Account Manager with American Express, a Customs Brokerage Agent with UPS and ended her career at Walmart on Whiskey Road in Aiken, SC. Janice enjoyed arts, crafts, ceramics, crocheting and traveling. She also enjoyed trips to Vegas and Cherokee, to play "cards"!! If Janice was known for one thing it would be, "I only have $3.00". She was also an avid Giants fan and a Tony Stewart fan. More than anything however, she enjoyed spending time her family, especially her grands.
In addition to her parents, family members include her children and their spouses, Donna and James Ward, Lincolnton, GA, Angie and Tim Macri, Lexington, SC and the late Jeffery Charles Parry, siblings, Mary Rice and her husband, Rob, Judy Pierretti and William "Billy" Hyde, all of Jacksonville, FL; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will greet friends on Saturday, September 25, 2021, beginning at noon at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastor Dexter Lambert will officiate.
