Jane Robinson Obituary

Blythe, GA – Mrs. Jane Robinson, 85, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 11, 2025. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel with Pastor Philip Stanley officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 10 until 11 o'clock. Jane was born April 18, 1940, to the late Kenneth Ray Creed and Evelyn Louise Pye Creed. She was a lifelong resident of Augusta, GA and a faithful member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. As a devout Christian, Jane was a selfless giver who constantly placed the needs of others above her own and was the caregiver to several family members throughout the years. She was known as a true friend by many and had a gift of discernment, thoughtfully looking for ways to serve those in need. Jane was the unwavering matriarch of her family and was actively involved in her children's lives. She encouraged her family's dreams and celebrated their accomplishments. Jane was an artist and a talented seamstress and used her creativity to make costumes and design dance recital stages for many years. She will be fondly remembered as a beloved wife, caring mother, and an adoring grandmother. Jane had the ability to connect with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren like no other, delving into their play and child-like imagination. Surviving family members left to cherish her memory include her husband of 62 years, Joe Robinson; two daughters, Angie Lanier (Wayne) of Blythe, GA and Christy Gagnon (Jim) of Belvedere, SC; two grandchildren, Miranda Kirby (Jacob) and Paul Gagnon; four great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Everly, Laurel, and Beckett. Pallbearers will be Wayne Lanier, Jacob Kirby, John McBurney, and Robert Stanley.
