James Wise Obituary

GLOVERVILLE – Mr. James Edward Wise "Lil Man", 68, of Gloverville, SC, entered into rest on Sunday, December 27, 2020.
A lifelong area resident, he was the proud owner of the L&M Café in Gloverville, SC. James proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed going fishing, playing guitar, cooking, playing pool, singing, and spending time with his family. He was a son of the late James J. Wise and Susie Jackson Wise.
In addition to his parents, family members include his son, Christopher Wise(Missie), siblings, Jayne Kaney, Mary Demarco(Carl), Lillian Langley, Patricia Ansley(Don), grandchildren, Zachary Wise, Christopher Wise, Danielle Wise, Harley Glanton, Tony Glanton Jr., Alexis Taylor, great grandchildren, Kaileey Glanton and Karson Glanton. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
A special thanks to the love of his life Ruth Wise Storey.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held January 10, 2021 at 3 o'clock in the Chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC 29829, the family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 2 o'clock. Pastor Gary Ferina and Pastor Phillip Napier will be officiating.
