James Sheppard Obituary
WAGENER, SC - Mr. James Melvon Sheppard, 85, entered into rest, Thursday, April 23, 2015.
Mr. James was the husband of Katherine Fulmer Sheppard for 62 years. He was the father of James Melvin (Sandy) Sheppard, Wade Curtis (Kathy) Sheppard and Don Wayne (Vicky) Sheppard; grandfather of 8; great-grandfather of 22; brother of Betty Ann (Rufus) Barrett, Patricia Lane (Doug) Fox; brother-in-law of Carol (Barbara) Fulmer, Donald (Ruth) Fulmer, and Uncle to many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents Freddie Sheppard and Susie Stewart Sheppard; sister Roza Lee Therrell; brother, Curtis O'Neal Sheppard; grandson, Jason Lannes Sheppard.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Watkins and Rev. Chris Addy officiating. James will be placed in the church at 1:30 for viewing. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials can be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, The American Heart Association, The American Diabetes Association.
