James Sanders Obituary
Jackson - Mr. James "Marty" Sanders, 63, of Jackson, SC, also known by his many friends as "Smooth", beloved husband of thirty-six years to Andrea Beard Sanders, entered into rest on Saturday, January 9, 2021.
A lifelong area resident, he was a son of Sherry McDonald Sanders, Clearwater, SC and the late James "Jimmy" Sanders. Marty was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and owned and operated Smooth's Cycle Shop. He enjoyed fishing, watching drag racing, a round of golf and RC car racing with his son, Marcus.
In addition to his wife and parents, family members include his children and their spouses, James Monty and Savannah Sanders, North Augusta, SC, James Marcus Sanders, Jackson, SC and Meghan and Joseph Holmes, Beech Island, SC; siblings, Debra and Jim Roed, Willow Springs, NC and Darla Sellers, Bath, SC and grandsons, Isaac Lawrence Sanders and Jackson Edward Holmes.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 11 o'clock in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pastor Earl Carter will officiate.
The family has asked that memorials be made to the American Heart Association. (www.heart.org)
