AIKEN - Mr. James C. Oakman, age 92, of 126 Oakman Dr. passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018.
Memorial services will be held 11 AM Saturday January 12, 2019 at Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church, 97 Dry Branch Rd, Aiken, SC 29803 with Rev. Bruce Wright, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

I met James and Annie Oakman in 2002. They allowed me to hunt their land every year. I visited them often and brought them processed Venison and Fish filets among other groceries. They became close friends and I became a better man by knowing them. It was a very sad day when Annie passed away. She was a beautiful soul and always showed love for others. James had lost his loving wife but retained her love for others. He was always a friend and is missed by my family. I write this today because God put James and Annie in my memory. My very special Loving Memories. Praise God for putting the Oakmans in my life.
