James Fields Obituary

Mr. James Allen Fields, Sr., 61, Trenton, SC, entered into rest peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. A lifelong area resident, he was the son of the late James W. and Nellie Jean Gregory Fields. A former truck driver, he was forced into early retirement due to a heart condition. However, he never let it slow him down. Allen enjoyed "wetting a hook" with his brother, Steve (Teresa) Fields, often calling himself the only "battery-operated fisherman" because of his LAVD device. Allen also enjoyed riding his Harley, especially when his companion, Callie Peeple, was on the back. Also. he enjoyed cooking out with his family and friends, as well as farming and hunting. Along with his brother and companion, Allen is survived by a son, Jamie Fields, and a daughter, Marie Fields. Also preceding Allen in death was a sister, Debra Diane Fields Collins.
