AIKEN, SC - James Thomas Abney born October 6, 1955, husband of Gloria Daniels Abney of 425 Fairfield St. passed away April 19, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Celebration of Life will be held 2PM Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Simmons Ridge Baptist Church, Edgefield, SC with Rev. Edward Lloyd, Officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents Rosa Bell Abney and Earnest Mathis and his sister, Fairey Bell Abney. His survivors include: his wife, Gloria Daniels Abney and his daughter, Satonya O'Leary.
