Jackie Spicer Obituary
WINDSOR - Funeral services for Jackie Lee "Jack" Spicer, Sr., 61, of Windsor, SC will be held four p.m., Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Spring Branch Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent in Jack's memory to Folk Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853. The sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Jack passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at his home.
Born in Aiken, SC he was a son of Zackie Spicer and Alberta Reynolds Spicer. He was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church. He was employed by the Graniteville Company having worked at the Gregg Plant. He also worked for Carolina Tree and Cold Creek Nursery.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Metts Lane Spicer and Knight Collins both of the home; daughters, Angie Roberts of Augusta, Marie Spicer of Windsor, Tammy Wadford of Windsor; sons, Brad Spicer of Martinsville, VA, Jackie Spicer, Jr. of Graniteville, Chris Spicer of Granitville, Marshall (Marie Jackson) Spicer of Windsor, Raymond (Britt) Spicer of Clearwater; step-sons, Larry Metts of Windsor, Ronnie (Jennifer) Byars, Jr. of Trenton; sisters, Marylin Hubbs, Olean Huff, Mary O'Cerio; 22 grandchildren, and two great grandsons. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Faye Dingess; sisters, Ellen Spicer, Jessie Stewart and brothers, Brunson, Harvey and Zackie Gene Spicer.
Folk Funeral Home, Inc. and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
