NORTH AUGUSTA - Mr. Jack Corley Ott, 84, of North Augusta, SC, beloved husband of sixty-three years to Jeannette Josey Ott, entered into rest peacefully, in his sleep on Sunday, December 5, 2021, in the comfort of his home.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Albert and Annie Folds Ott. A United States Army Veteran, he proudly and with honor served his country during the Berlin Crisis. He was a dedicated member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Ott enjoyed fishing and camping.
In addition to his wife and parents, family members include his twin daughters and their spouses, Glenda and Tom Hall, North Augusta, SC and the late Linda and Rodney Hall, Trenton, SC; siblings the late A.C. and Ott and the late William Ott, grandchildren, Shaina Allred, Chris Hall and Andrew Hall and a great-granddaughter, Linda Marie Patterson.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 1 o'clock at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Bath, SC. Dr. Harold Herd and Pastor Louis Swanson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Bath, SC. Pallbearers will be Tom Hall, Ricky Owens, James Patterson, Andrew Hall, Rodney Hall and Chris Drake.
The family has asked that memorials be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church.
