Jack L. Myers: 1936-2016
age 79, of Canton passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 following a long illness. Born July 5, 1936 in Canton to the late Jennings B. And Doris Myers. Jack serve the Timken Company in various management positions for 44 years and retired in 1999. During his life in Canton, he was very active in community service having served on several boards of various civic organizations. Besides his mother and father he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Helen (Fenwick) Myers, four brothers, Donald, Jennings Jr., Gerald and Edwin, two sisters, Bette Fenwick and Thelma Marlatt, to stepbrothers, Bill and Bob Fenwick and one stepsister, Helen Bauer. Survivors include his beloved wife, Brenda Myers, four children, Patti (Rick) Caley, Tim (Patty) Myers, Janel (Tom) Newell and Tom Myers, two stepchildren, Matt (Sheri) Swank and Todd Swank, brother, stepsister, Jeanne (Roy) Ridgway and two sisters-in-law, Mary and Donna Myers. Jack was very proud of his nine grandchildren and two step grandchildren. Grandchildren, Tim and Chris Myers; Nick (Grace), Lindsey, Alexandra and Erica Caley, Hunter, Griffin and Ella Newell and step grandchildren, Parker and Braden Swank. Jack also leaves behind a wonderful group of nephews and nieces. Jack was faithful to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and attended St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Family and friends will meet on Friday at 11 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Father Donald King as celebrant. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 9 to 11 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center. The family would like to thank the staff of Aultman Hospice/Aultman Compassionate Care Center for their kindness. Condolences may be made to:
