Herman Eugene Seigler, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31st, 2025, at the age of 76. A resident of Aiken, South Carolina, Herman was born in Aiken on Saturday, June 5th, 1948, to the late Earl Purvis and Bertha Erlene Seigler.
Prior to becoming the successful owner of his own well drilling service until his retirement, Herman was for many years a tractor trailer driver. He was a true craftsman who took great pride in his work. Known for his hardworking spirit, he was also deeply connected to the land, enjoying farming and spending time outdoors. In his younger years, he embraced his love for hunting. An avid South Carolina Gamecocks fan, Herman was an adamant fan of WWE wrestling and cherished every moment he spent with his children and grandchildren, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
He is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife of 54 years, Cheryll Delores Seigler; his brother, Allen Seigler; and three sisters, Sara Seigler Blackmon, Kathy Seigler Pilz, and Vickie Seigler Reynolds.
Herman leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that continues through his family: his three daughters, Cindy (Terrence) McClattie, Pamela (Paul) Frazier, and Kimberly Kirkbride, all of Aiken; his son, Robert (Eddie) Kinard of Thompson Station, TN; and his cherished grandchildren, Jessica Henderson, Vanessa (Matt) Jackson, Valerie (Bethany) Henderson, Alyssa (Tyler) Sheehan, Lacey Kirkbride, and Landen Kirkbride. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Jaliyah, Killian, Aria, Beau, and Willow. Herman is survived by his brother, Lester Seigler of Aiken, and three sisters, Rebecca (John) Workentine of Charlotte, NC, Susie Seigler Hallman, and Rose Seigler Lockhart, both of Aiken and many other nephews who he considered like sons.
