Herbert Ronald (Ron) Marshall
PULASKI, Tenn. - Mr. Herbert Ronald Marshall, 66, of Pulaski, died October 2, 2014, at Veterans Hospital, Alvin C. York Campus, Murfreesboro.
Born in Atlanta, GA.,Augusta 4, 1998, the son of Herbert R. and Simone Marshall, was a Christian and veteran of the United States Navy, who served during the Vietnam War. her enjoyed attending patriotic events with his wife, Nan, who is also a veteran. Mr. Marshall was a graduate of Aiken Technical College and taught vocational technology at Aiken and Tennessee Technology Center, Pulaski. He was a craftsman in the areas of welding, woodworking and jewelry-making, and was known in the Pulaski area for his skills in house restoration and painting. He loved the ocean, to fish, farm work, and volunteering at church and in the community, cherishing most the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his farther Herbert R. Marshall; brother David Albert Marshall; and father-in-law Houston Whitt.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years Nancy Whitt (Nan) Marshall; mother in law Era Miller Whitt;daughters, Simonne Marshall Young and husband Johnny, Aimee Marshall Sherouse and husband Donnie; sons, Aaron Marshall, Ross Marshall; godson Joshua Hinerman; Sister Maryvonne Wright and husband Jim;sister-in-law Joan Whitt; Cousin Melvis Smith and Husband Lowell; and Grandchildren, Ryan, Hannah, D.J., Carson, Emma Grace, Joshua, Jacob and Caleb.
