Herbert Jones Obituary

G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Herbert Denzel Jones who entered into rest September 28, 2025. Mr. Jones was a 2013 graduate of Evan High School. He was a Stocker for Walmart and a member of Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Michael and Loretta Kelley Jones; a sister, Erica (Milton) Childs; his paternal grandmother, Pearline Jones; aunts, Geraldine (Rev. Lorenzo) Williams, Carolina (Fred) Padgett, Carolyn Vanessa Gilchrist, Roberta Geiger, Dorothy Jones, Martha (Edward) Taylor, Marie (Robert) Jordan; uncles, Lincoln (Mary) Kelley, Sandy Kelley, Charles Jones and Marvin (Corintha) Jones; special caregivers, Briana Holloway and Brittney Benjamin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Lorenzo Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown, GA. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. Professional Services are under the care of G. L.
