Helen Jeanne Sitz
WAGENER, SC - Helen Jeanne Sitz, aged 84, died peacefully on October 28, 2015 at Aiken Regional Hospital. She was surrounded by her loved and loving children Michele Pyle, Steven Sitz, Karen Katilie and Kim Neiss. Helen was born on March 24th, 1931 in Montreal, Canada and was the daughter of Joseph Alphonse Bailey and Irene Marie Lagace-Bailey.
Helen enjoyed water and snow skiing, loved travel and the outdoors and spent many hours working in her yard with her plants. She loved spending time at the beach.
Helen leaves behind loving children and grandchildren William and Robert Pyle, Bailey, Eliza and Serena Sitz, Chris and Brandy Katilie and Justin and Brian Neiss and great grandchildren Gianna, Massimo, Matthew and Adrianna Pyle.
The family will request a prayer service locally and hold a memorial service in Whitesboro, New York in the spring of 2016.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 3223 Sunset Blvd #100, West Columbia, SC 29169.
Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, SC assisted the family with arrangements.
