GW Lanier Obituary
Warrenville - Mr. G.W. "Pee Wee" Lanier, age 83, husband of late Lyvonne "Bonnie" Lanier, entered into rest on Monday October 17, 2022 at his home surrounded by his children and there spouses.
He is survived by his sons, Gary (Lisa) Lanier, Phillip (Sherry) Lanier; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, five step-great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lee and Mae Belle Hendrix Lanier; son, Dennis Lee "Leo" Lanier; and brothers, Doug, Relferd and James Lanier.
Mr. Lanier retired from Kimberly Clark after 30 plus years of service. He enjoyed fishing, camping, his family and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be forever missed by all whose lives he touched.
A funeral service honoring his life will be held in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Friday October 21, 2022 at 3pm with Pastor Phillip Napier officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Langley Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Bryan Lanier, Tyler Lanier, Michael Franks, Marty Bryant, Leonard "Link" Atkinson and Marvin Groomes. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main Street. Graniteville, SC 29829 has been entrusted with these arrangements.
