Gregory Pasciuti Obituary

Mr. Gregory Michael Pasciuti
AIKEN - Gregory Michael Pasciuti of Aiken, South Carolina (and New York) passed away on October 4th, 2023, after a long, brave battle with Cancer.
Gregory, better known as Gregg (or Cuz), was born to Pearl and Michael Pasciuti on July 12, 1951, in Yorktown Heights, New York. Gregg enjoyed an adventurous and active life, loved the beach, skiing, motorcycles, music, and carpentry, and was a true mechanic and jack of all trades.
He attended Peekskill Military Academy, where he met lifelong friends, and graduated from Yorktown High School in 1970. After high school, Gregg traveled a bit where he lived and worked in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Gregg returned to New York and worked at Reader's Digest for 17 years as a facilities manager. Gregg had a very full career as a Certified Facilities Manager and worked at many iconic NYC properties. He was VP of Operations at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. He was a CFM at NY Medical College and Carnegie Hall. He was working at 125 Broad as a CFM and was there during the 9/11 attack, where he stayed and triaged the building.
Gregg loved taking beach and ski vacations, riding 50's in the backyard with his kids, and could guarantee an intense Easter Egg hunt. He was a fantastic cook known for his Italian meals like stromboli, pasta fagioli, along with tuna tartare and date bars.
Gregg and his wife Sandy, the love of his life, moved to Aiken, South Carolina, in 2017 to pursue their dream of living on a beautiful farm to care for horses, dogs, and other animals. After moving to Aiken, SC, Gregg was in charge of HVAC at Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC. He was a CFM at Woodside in Aiken, SC, and finished his career at SCSU in charge of their HVAC.
Gregg is survived by his wife Sandy Shannon-Pasciuti of Aiken, SC and his four children Lindsey (Pasciuti) Williams (and husband Lucas) of Edmond, OK Michael Pasciuti of Broomfield, CO Gregory J. Pasciuti of Las Vegas, NV, and Nicole Pasciuti of Cortlandt Manor, NY. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Mason (13) Delaney (10), Ava (10) Alessia (9) Anthony (6), and Amelia (1). He is survived by his sister Jane niece, Amanda, and nephew, Nicholas.
Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at The Carriage House Inn, Aiken, SC. In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to make a donation in Gregg's name to either of the following charities close to his heart.

I met Gregg while working at Woodside. He was always there to lend a helping hand or crack a joke. Just a really nice man who made the world a better place. I´m so sorry for your loss.
