Grant Goff
WINDSOR - Funeral services for Grant Leslie Goff, 87, of Windsor, SC will be held at two o'clock p.m., Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Spring Branch Baptist Church, Windsor with the Reverend Manuel Gunter officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military honors accorded. Honorary Pallbearer will be Zachary Smith. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Mr. Goff passed away on May 12, 2021 at the Richard Campbell Veteran's Home in Anderson, SC.
Born in Honeoye Falls, Monroe County, NY, he was a son of the late Gene L. Goff and Florence Nunemaker Goff. Grant spent most of his time reading his Bible, he loved singing country music and Southern Gospel. He held a Certificate of Ordination, served in the US Navy and held various service awards. He was a lifelong member of the VFW, was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose where he held many different offices and had a Fellowship Degree. Above all he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Survivors include his loving wife Mary Williams Prescott Goff; his children Jeannie Mancilla, Sandy Goff, Gerry Goff, Anna Torres, Debra Sloan, Dawn Goff and Grant Goff, Jr.; a brother John Goff; sister Bonnie Goff; step-children Sherry L. Berry, Cheryl Cassidy, Donna Swan, Everett Prescott and his adopted brother and life-long friend Cookie (Opie) Cook of Anderson; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother Gerald Goff.
