AIKEN - Mrs. Grace Mayme Darr, 84, of Aiken, SC, beloved wife to the late David G. Darr, entered into rest on Monday, December 10, 2018. Born in St. Louis, Missouri and a resident of Aiken County, SC, since 1974, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Clara Banguert Cantagi. She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church. Grace enjoyed playing bingo,cards, bowling, and she owned and operated a bakery in the late 1970s with her sister. More than anything however, she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a grandson Matthew Darr. Family members include her children and their spouses, Denise and Ricky Adams, Steve and Marsha Darr, Greg and Rhonda Darr, Beth Faulkner, Bobby and Diane Darr, David Darr, Carolyn and Todd Scott, and Donna and Wendell Edwards, sisters, Josephine Fanning and Dorothy Miano, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018, at 1 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home, Graniteville, SC. The Very Reverend Gregory Wilson will officiate. Final commendations and farewell prayers will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
