George Welsch Obituary

George Welsch, Jr.
Aiken - Funeral services for George Welsch, Jr. of Aiken, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church 902 Hitchcock Drive in Aiken. Officiating will be Reverend Gerald R. Reiter. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery and Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service at the church.
A Son of the late George Welsch, Sr. and Blanche Lockhart Welsch, he was born in Sheboygan WI and moved with his wife Eladia to Aiken SC in 1977. Mr. Welsch worked in several professions before retiring as a Security Escort.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years; Eladia Welsch, daughters; Dr. Nelly Welsch and Georgine Voelker (Randy), sisters; Ann Kummerow (Herb) of Sheboygan WI, and Delores Sankey (Harry) of New Ellenton SC. He is also survived by a brother Richard Welsch of Hayward WI.
Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 902 Hitchcock Drive, Aiken, SC 29803.
