Frederick Hooley Obituary

Frederick Robert Hooley passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on February 9, 2025. Mr. Hooley was born on November 12, 1944, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to the late Frederick L. Hooley and Ruth A. Hooley. Fred moved to Warrenville, South Carolina, where he dedicated many years as a respected and diligent Supervisor of Maintenance, earning the admiration of his colleagues and community for his unwavering work ethic and kindness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudette Buddenhagen, with whom he shared many joyous years and cherished memories, and his siblings, Lawerence Hooley and Joan Louise Hooley. Fred is survived by his loving family who will miss him dearly: his grandchildren Robert and Allison Hilton of Aiken; Jennifer and John Atnipp of Warrenville; and Michael Hilton of Aiken. His legacy lives on in his four adored great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life. Fred will also be remembered for his generous spirit and kind heart.
