Fred Eubanks Obituary

Mr. Fred Niles Eubanks, 68, of Warrenville, SC, known affectionately as "Uncle Freddie", companion of Mary Louise Eubanks, entered into rest peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025, while in the comfort of his home. A was the son of the late Willie James and Josephine Cochran Eubanks. He had lived in "the valley" most of his life, except living in Calhoun, GA, for a brief stint. Uncle Freddie was a talented commercial painter before retiring. Uncle Freddie was always the "life of the party". With Uncle Freddie, what you see is what you get. He never put on a front. If a thought came to mind, it immediately went out of his mouth. You never had to worry about where you stood with him. He was happiest when he was fishing, and the karaoke machine was out. However, nothing made him any happier than spending time with his family and friends with the grill fired up and a cold beverage in hand. Along with his companion, Freddie is survived by his daughters, Gina Delgado and Kasha Eubanks, several grandchildren, an abundance of nieces and nephews, including Mary Ann Mikell, Melissa Eubanks, and Roy Eubanks, who were more like children to Uncle Freddie, great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, and countless friends. In addition to his parents, his only son, Freddie Dewayne Eubanks, and siblings, Bennie Eubanks, Alonzo Eubanks, Charles Eubanks, Buddy Eubanks, Bill Eubanks, Roy Lee Eubanks, Lewis Eubanks, Lillian Busbee, and Betty Ruth Hutto, also preceded him in death. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. Pastor Floyd Hutto will officiate. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery, Langley, SC. Pallbearers will be Roy Eubanks, Brandon Huffman, John Eubanks, Sammy Miller, Freddie Lewis Eubanks, and Mike Chavis. Bricen Eubanks, Jalen Eubanks, Corporal Antonio Carrillo, United States Marine Corps, Austin Mikell, Tommy Eubanks, and Phillip Miller will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will greet friends on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 6 until 8 o'clock at the funeral home.
