FRANK GRIZZELL Obituary

GRIZZELL, FRANK - of Sharps Chapel, passed away January 3, 2015, after a short battle with cancer. He was a Vietnam Army veteran. He was a retired steam fitter from TVA. He was saved at an early age and was a deacon of Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church. He loved God, his church, family and farming. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Frank Grizzell and grandmother, Maggie Grizzell; his father, John Grizzell; mother, Martha Grizzell; sister, Natalie Stone. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Lou Grizzell; daughters, Tabitha and husband Lance Estes, Tanya and husband Robbie Jenkins; grandchildren, Seth Jenkins, Nicholas Estes; brother, Wesley and wife Linda Grizzell; sisters: Modena Grizzell, Byrtle Range; extended family, Brenda and Jack Sharp, George and Betty Bowen, Hershel Bowen, Wendell Bowen; special neighbor, Flo Craig; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund P.O. Box 732, New Tazewell, TN 37824. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Monday January 5, 2015, at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday January 6, 2015, at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Irish Memorial Garden. Ministers: Rev. Sam Griffin and Rev. Ronnie Ellison. Music and singer: Myrtle Meyers and Connie Bryant. Pallbearers: Benji Grizzell, Curtis Greer, David Bowen, Greg Bowen, Timmy Bowen, Bud Tolliver. Honorary pallbearers: members of Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church. Coffey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
