Fair thee well my friend...to those who've gone before and to those still trudging the happy road. I'll keep an eye to the sky!!!

R.I.P. FRANK, BIG PART OF WARRINGTON AIRPOT HISTORY GONE, BUT NOT FORGOTTEN !, NOW FLYING IN THE HEAVENS.

R.I.P. Frank. So sorry to hear of your passing and happy you are no longer sick. Tim, Audrey, Spence, Alby and the rest of the departed Warrington gang were all there to welcome you to 'Runway 37' I am certain. Your cup is on our RWY 37 shelf in your memory.

RIP old friend!

Laura and I met Frank our first week on the airport. We were out with our dogs on a walk. He approached us and was quick with an introduction. He always had a good 'aviation' story to share.
Frank was a friendly, kind man.

For 24 years Frank was my close friend, my mentor, my surrogate father since my own passed away and I loved him. Better, he loved me. I met Frank just as UWSA was starting up (United We Stand America for the rest of you, a volunteer organization created by us Ross Perot supporters) and we were constant friends since. In those early days, we were cohorts, with numerous projects worked on, conventions, traveling all around the country, burning the midnight oil, plotting and planning things out, running the Philly Perot '96 office, the Reform Party, great memories and a great ride for a young person. And you know Frank! He always had some angle, some idea--and a fascination with small towns to explore while he drug you along to explain them. His one liners we can all quote and I think always will. I learned the wonder of those out of the way places because of him. He would regale us with his stories of flying John Denver, Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, many others and always somehow tell us (in Forrest Gump style) how he put an idea in their heads. In the air, Frank was spot on, very safe and he knew his skill backwards and forwards. He had a tremendous heart for younger people addicted to booze and drugs. He was always there to help a struggling person who wanted to stay clean or dry. Think of how many there must have been over the years! When my father was dying, he would drive down from Warrington even on days he had to sleep (he had picked up a small part time night job running the Moble station) to help, going with little rest. That takes almost an hour in traffic. My dad and he became buddies over their love of planes. He taught me to drive and never lost patience. Taught me to be safe on the road, with finances, and with bull---- someone sells you. He loved his country, his mystery books, Perry Mason every afternoon, and the old PA coal region his family came from. He was funny, sarcastic as hell and we loved that! He always knew a little something about everything. Except computers, right? How they frustrated him! His heart was for others and he would talk about each of his friends he loved, always a story, spanning the decades.
But most of all, he was my friend. 30 years apart, we never noticed. We could talk for hours and often did. I went to him for advice often. He was never cruel with it if I was wrong, he would simply say he made the same bad choice and could tell me how it worked out for him. When he moved to South Carolina in 2006, I'd go down every year to see him. And there were a thousand more small towns to find, more old courthouses to visit, Frank leaning against a wall, telling a clerk "You know, I used to run a small airport up in Warrington, PA where I'm from, and ha!...this one day Mike Love from The Beach Boys comes walking in ..."
But that was why we loved him.
He told me the last time we talked, that he wanted me to know he had a good life, that it was good because of all his experiences, his flying, and each of us close to him.
How I will miss you, old friend. I can't imagine my life without you.

Frank, you stopped me from going down the road to hell when i was young and showed me how to fly the blue skies above. I never made it down south for one more flight together, but every day i run preflight threw my head like you taught me. I truely thankyou for the best part of my life. Flights to butter valley aiirport just to get breakfest, or tuncanuk airport for a burger. Always flying somewhere. Loved every second we spent seeing the world from a birds eye veiw with you. You probably kept me from wearing orange and strips, thanks for being there. May you spend eternity flying with alby, john oneil, al and the rest of your flying family that flew home befor you. Love you cuz, Your always in my thoughts and in my heart forever.., as i know you are in many others that you have helped and touched. Now your free to fly forever and not have to land for gas! Save me a seat for me so we can have that next flight together when we meet again. RIP, SAY HI TO POPS,LUTHER AND JANE FOR US. TIL I C U WHEN I SEE U

Most of us lead hectic lives with busy schedules. I'm sure Frank had not been a exception; but the time I have know him he was never in a hurry. Especially this past year it seems every time I came to the airport I was on a mission to complete some task. I will miss Frank asking "Ahhh, got time for a cup of coffee?" In his own way he reminded me to slow down.
