Frances Arnott Obituary
AIKEN - A Funeral Liturgy for FRANCES J. ARNOTT, will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at the old St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-12:45 prior to the service at George Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent dePaul, in care of St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church, PO Box 438, Aiken, SC, 29802 or to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
Mrs. Arnott, 85, of Aiken, died on Monday, May 15, 2017. Born in Mineola, NY, she was the eldest daughter of the late Hugh and Catherine McAleer O'Hare. Mrs. Arnott was a retired administrator with Verizon. She enjoyed painting and was a social person who enjoyed keeping in touch with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Arnott.
Survivors include her daughter, Fran E. Arnott (Tom Hunt) of Lancaster, PA; her son, David D. Arnott of New York, NY; her sister, Mary V. Smith (John) of Aiken and brother, Hugh O'Hare (Irene) of Naples, Florida.
