Finace Bush Obituary

Finace Bush, Sr.
New Ellenton - Brother Finace Bush Sr., son of the late Kate Sapp Walters and Andrew Bush Sr., was born September 16, 1934 in Aiken County. He departed this life on Sunday September 12, 2021 at his residence in New Ellenton, SC. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday September 18, 2021 at Crown Kingdom Cultural Center, 720 Edgefield Rd, North Augusta, SC (Viewing 12-1 PM) with Rev. Finace Bush Jr., Pastor. Burial will follow at Runs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Beech Island, SC.
At an early age, Finace accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and joined Runs Missionary Baptist Church. Finace served on the Trustee Board. He was an outstanding leader in the community. Finace served on the New Ellenton, SC Water Commission, Planning and Zoning Committee for the City of New Ellenton. He served as a member of AARP. Finace was always mentoring and transporting children in the community to various sporting events. Finace would often do carpentry jobs for neighbors and others around Aiken County. Finace was employed by Savannah River Site, Dupont for 40 years from 1955-1995.
Finace was united in Holy Matrimony to Ollie Mae Smith Bush on January 30, 1955. To this union, four children were born. Finace was preceded in death by his parents and fifteen siblings, while leaving to cherish many memories; his devoted wife of 66 years, Ollie Mae Bush; four children, Rhonda (Earl) Johnson, Finace, Jr. (Denise) Bush, Harold (Brenda) Bush, and Cheryl (Tony) Jones; sixteen grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; five brothers, Clarence (Mary) Bush, Andrew Bush, Elmo Bush, Marcellus Bush, and Leon (Barbara) Bush; two sisters, Lillie (Charles) Jeffries and Eldora Bush Williamson; sisters-in-law, Janie Bush, Lizzie S. Aaron, Laura (Murray) Riley, and Emma S. Walker; brothers-in-law, Peter Smith Jr., and James (Lorraine) Smith; and a host of other relatives and loving friends.
