Fay Baker Obituary
NEWELLENTON - Fay Hasty Baker, 85, passed away Tuesday July 18, 2017 at University Hospital.
A native of Camden, SC Fay was a daughter of the late James Hasty and Nellie Kathryn Raley Hasty. She was a resident of New Ellenton, SC since the early 1950's and was a member at Milbrook Baptist Church. She was a licensed pilot and loved flying.
Survivors include her daughters Linda Heath (Steven) New Ellenton, SC, Brenda Sims (Tommy) Langley, SC, Wanda Randolph (Brian), New Ellenton, SC; brother, Chris Hasty, Coward, SC; grandchildren, Jason Randolph, Joshua Randolph, Nikki Sims, Dana Chipley, Stacey McKinney and Brandon Heath and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Fay was preceded in death by her son James Ray Baker and a brother, Carroll Hasty.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, July 20th from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home.
The funeral will be Friday morning at 11 o'clock at the Funeral Home with The Revs Bill Howard and Donald Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Randolph, Joshua Randolph, Clay Chipley, Wil Chipley, Brandon Heath, Luke McKinney, Dylan McKinney and Jason Fields.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Milbrook Baptist Church.
