Faustine Janell Prather
WARRENVILLE, SC - Faustine went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 19, 2015 at her home in Warrenville, SC with her family by her side.
Born Faustine Janell Bell on October 31, 1928 in Clearwater, SC, she was the daughter of the late Laura Victoria (Wall) and Fred Bell.
Faustine was the widow of James R. "Bobie" Burbage, who passed away in 1987 and Claude A. Prather, Sr. who passed away in 2014.
She was a life long resident of Aiken County and retired from the Aiken County Probate Judge's office.
She was a totally devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was a people person, who always enjoyed classic country music and dancing, and she especially loved time spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Seigler (fiance; Fred Jones) of West Columbia, SC and Wanda (husband Ronald) Barrett of King George, VA; five grandchildren: Aimee Payne of Lexington, SC; Jeremy (wife Paula) Barrett of Cayce, SC; Lance Seigler, Jennifer LeCroy and Jason (wife Julie) Barrett, all of King George, VA; 8 great-grandchildren, Alexis LeCroy, Brittany Barrett, Matthew Warrenville, Hanna LeCroy, Jeremy Barrett, Jr., Alexander Payne, Levi Barrett and Jace Barrett.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James B. Bell, and sisters, Mary Dorothy McConnell and Marie Eleanore McCuen.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 3PM at Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel in Langley, SC.
The service will be officiated by Reverend Bill Branch, Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Graniteville, SC. Visitation will be 2-3PM prior to the service and at the family home, 308 Piney Heights Road, Warrenville, SC.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy S. Barrett, Charles L. (Lance) Seigler, Jason Barrett, Matthew Warren, Aimee Payne, and Jennifer Le LeCroy.
Honorary pallbearers are James S. (Steve) Bell, Randolph W. Vaughn, William M. (Billy) McCuen, James Arley Keel, Claude A. Prather, Jr., and Donald B. Gwyn.
The family wishes to extend special appreciation and gratitude to caregivers Carla Johnson and Carole Redden for their compassionate care and dedication. Also thank you to the staff at Trinity Hospice of Aiken, SC, Becky and Brittany for making Mother's final days as comfortable as possible.
We also have deep appreciation and love for our cousins and the many friends who supported us throughout our Mother's illness.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 106 SRP Drive, Evans, GA 30809, Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church, PO Box 240, Bath, SC 29816 or to Trinity Hospice, 690 Medical Park Drive, Aiken, SC 29801.
