I cherish my childhood memories of Thanksgiving visits to Aiken. Aunt Evelyn always prepared a delicious meal and was warm and welcoming. I especially loved it when she laughed! Also, I am very thankful for her kindness and the help she gave my family during my mother's illness many years ago. I know she will be missed greatly by Susan, Diane, Steven, and her grandchildren. Sending my love and prayers to the family,
Laurie (Moore) Nelson

May the God of all comfort sustain your family during the days ahead Psalms 119:76

I have many fond Evelyn memories. She was always a good host during my visits and made me feel welcomed. I will never forget the early days driving Evelyn and children to Raleigh for Christmas, singing joyfully all the way. She will be missed. Regret I was unable to attend the funeral service.

My best wishes and love to the family.

My prayers go out to all the Moore family. I worked with Carey for years at SCN and always thought the world of Evelyn. As you celebrate her life, I wish you God's peace.
